“ My friend and I decided to try Kona Grill during Restaurant Week, and it was a great choice. We enjoyed a three-course meal for just $35--an unbeatable deal! For my starter, I chose the Sweet & Bleu Salad and asked them to hold the spiced pecans. My entrée was the Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon, served with fried rice, and for dessert, I had cheesecake with a raspberry sauce. I also ordered a Strawberry Lemon Drop and a bottle of Fiji water. The returns is nicely furnished and the lighting is adequate. The service was amazing. They were busy, especially since a large party arrived before us, so there was a bit of a wait to be seated, but it wasn't too bad. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and checked on us regularly. One thing I really liked was their pay-at-the-table terminal, which made the checkout process super easy. We didn't have to wait for the server to bring the check, and the system allows you to split the bill by the number of people in your party or itemize it however you want. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back! ”
“ The manager (late night) is my favorite! He is super welcoming. We go here as an after spot for snacks abs drinks. No pictures but I get the tacos or chicken lettuces wraps. They have a bar area and dining area. There's a large fish tank by the bar that's cool to look at. They have late night happy hour which is always a win! ”
“ Have you ever felt like a good Happy Hour made your day better?! After a long day of travel, I appreciated that Kona Grill was within waking distance from our hotel. And to make things even better, it was conveniently between the hours of happy hour when I arrived. The food was hot and delicious. The server was patient as anyone who is hungry know everything looks good on the menu at that moment. I liked that he gave me the time I needed to decide. The ambiance was mellow as it wasn't too crowded at that time and the volume of people surrounding my table was pretty moderate. Stop by if you get a chance. Telly was the server for my happy hour experience. ”
“ Customer Service: 3 Quality of food: 4 Portion size: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Affordability: 3 Military discount: Yes I decided to try Kuna Grill Baltimore restaurant for dinner this evening, since they was located conveniently on Pratt Street near the convention center. Upon entering I could tell they were very busy, as I went ahead and sat myself I'm the bar area. After 3-5 minutes, I finally had a waiter ask me if I wanted to order something. So I quickly placed my order and decided to try the Kona Stir-fry. My order came out in approximately 5 minutes, and it was a pretty good size portion. My waiter brought my food but didn't bring me any silverware. I waited a few minutes before they brought me some plasticware, and informed me that they were in the process of washing dishes. I thought that it was a bit overpriced considering it had more white rice than chicken and vegetables. It was seasoned very well and I would recommend this menu item. Up to this point I was probably going to give them a 3 star rating based on customer service alone. But then right before I was paying my bill, one of the mangers asked me if everything was okay...so I shared my thoughts. The manger apologized for their poor customer service and honored my military discount. I'm not sure if I would return due to various reasons listed. Due to the manager's professionalism I decided to rate this location with a 4 star. ”
“ Solid steak. I sat at the bar, it was sticky. The service was not great and the restaurant smells like Applebees, but I'm not gunna lie that was a solid steak. I would definitely be back and order the same thing in the future. ”
“ Parking in the area is a little wonky, but it is downtown baltimore. Once you get inside Kona grill, you forget all about the traffic and parking. Just a single, I sat at the bar. Super tired from the day, I wasn't really in the mood for more stimulation from too many TVs, and thank goodness the bar just has two. There was plenty of ambient noise around the restaurant, but the bar had a great vibe. The three bartenders were excellent, especially Diamond. At jer recommendation, I ordered a sushi combo platter that came with three pieces of sashimi, a spicy tuna roll if I recall correctly, and an Asian salad. Dinner didn't take long to arrive and time passed quickly with the crowd at the bar. The combo platter was definitely a full meal for a hungry guy. Everything was fresh, really colorful and full of flavor. The meal was perfect. The restaurant was super busy on a Friday evening. It was super clean and had a great vibe. ”
